Cody is a graduate…6 years in the making. An appropriate place to start this website as an easy (and somewhat lazy) way to update you on the newest chapter of our life.
Cody has been accepted to a Law school in Indianapolis and after visiting Buffalo Law and Pittsburgh Law we decided that Indy is the place for us. Classes start August 20th and until that day we will be living with Cody’s family in Vernal to give them a chance to get sick of us and maybe keep them from visiting so often. So why Indy you ask? Allow me to list…(this is where that lazy thing comes into play)
- It’s shiny, clean, new and safe. (see http://www.indydt.com/ )
- Their freeways and highways are ORGANIZED, if you’ve ever driven through Pittsburgh you know how important this is.
- The law school is impressive and immaculate.
- There are about a dozen geneological libraries to drop Cody’s mom off at. (and give her good reason to come see us in the first place.)
- Indy 500…I don’t care how boring it is on TV, we saw the track and it’s HUGE. (end of May, mark your calendars)
- A real football team…NFL football team…Cody’s in ecstasy.
- Two more NFL teams two hours away.
- Notre Dame and IU football (touchdown Jesus here we come)
- Our dear friends the Jason and Julie will also be moving to Indy for Jason to be going to law school also.
- It’s big enough not to get bored and small enough not to get scared.
So that’s a few reasons why on Indiana. Law school is three years and Cody’s not sure what type of law he wants to practice. We may love Indy and stay for a few more years or we may come running back to Utah so fast you won’t even know we were gone. All I know is that five years ago I married a man who wanted to go to law school and now he’s going and he’ll do stellar.

Casey, you are one amazing WOMAN! I love you so much and look up to you. I am shedding tears at the moment to know that you are leaving me, but also I am so utterly jealous that you are! I pray for you and wish you the best this world has to offer. Your writing skills send chills down my spine…have you ever thought of writing a book? Best wishes and lots of love!
