ENOUGH!

Between the two of us Cody is by far the bigger sissy when it comes to spiders. I am a spider killer, sorry to those who aren’t but I can’t trust the little buggers. So far there have been several in the bathroom, a couple in each of our bedrooms and dozens outside. Spiders here are a whole different enchilada. One looked like a crab, one was all jointy and shiny (the LEAST trustworthy of them all) and then some are fuzzy…but fuzzy is a nice adjective…hairy beast is more like it. This little charmer was waiting for me on the doorknob when I got home. It’s still alive due to the fact it was already outside.
Did I ever tell you about the time Cody killed a black widow right outside the window where I now sit typing this? It was the manliest thing I’ve ever seen out of him, he sprayed it with an entire can of roach killer before pummeling it with the handle of a shovel from four feet away all while shrieking and doing the “I hate spiders” jig. That’s my man.

Comments off.

Casey,

I know all too well the fear and terror of spiders. Remember when I lived in the basement of my own house, well, one day I was sitting on my couch, eight months pregnant with Jothan and along came a black widow from above. I swat at it and did the infamous spider jig. Well, that wasn’t the worst of them, we had one about two inches in diameter, and that was JUST the body. Good luck to you my friend. Vernal can be a dangerous place! Love ya!
