OH WHY OH WHY DID I EVER GO SELF HOSTED?

I am having so many issues and am losing so much sleep over this whole hot mess that this is no longer an enjoyable hobby but a source of desserts spelled backwards.

(stressed, people, s t r e s s e d.)

I know no web designers, I don’t have the time to teach myself hardly anything (as much as I want to) online tutorials may as well be in Klingon and the tears are starting to flow. This isn’t fun anymore.

Go enjoy other peoples blogs who know what they’re doing, because this one’s going to be on hiatus for a while.

Klonopin? Anybody? Anybody?

You dont know me but i have been reading your page through a friends, just wanted to say I LOVE IT! its so real and you say what i would love to say but dont have the guts!

I’ve been thinking about switching too, but will probably put it off for these very reasons until I have a bit more time on my hands. Hugs to you, honey. I love that new banner, but I share your fear about being self-hosted. I know a bit about web design, but not enough to keep the stress away and the desserts away from my belly.

Because of you, I looked into getting my own hosting gig this past weekend. Then my brain started cramping really really bad just reading the first page of How To on wordpress.org.

Let me tell ya, I’ve had brain farts ALL week since.

Looks like lots of other have offered their help, but I’ll offer too If you need any help, I’ve been doing the HTML thing for almost 10 years!

I feel your pain (and I am taking notes on WHO offered help!). I try one little thing and have the whole sidebar practically upside down and stretched across the footer. WTF??

I’m such a technotard that I’ve hired out help for my blog. I feel the same way about going self-hosted. I feel like I don’t have any control anymore…no backup? I’ve crashed my site like 4 times and my dearest Carrisa (carrisablog.com) has rebuilt it for me. bless.

Eek! This is precisely why I’m so scared to make the move to a “real” blog. But when I do make the move (and it is coming soon), and face the inevitable coding disasters and whatnot, I’m coming back to this very post and stalking all the lovely people who offered to help you.

Well, it looks good to me.

When I moved over to self hosted it was easy as pie (and I know NOTHING). I think I was lucky. Very, very lucky.
