You see, not too long ago I was hiding my phone under the table too.

While all my friends tapped out tweets and updated statuses on their fancy phones I could do exactly two things with mine.

A) Call people. B) Be called by people.

For one of you that is all about to change…because one of you will be winning a brand spanking new Motorola DROID RAZR from Verizon.

Not only will one of you win the thinnest smart phone on the market, one of you will win a smartphone that is encased in KEVLAR. (You know, the stuff bullet proof vests are made out of?)

This post made me laugh – I have an AT&T pay-as-you-go phone. I don’t even give the number out often.

I’m using a free phone I got with my prepaid account and am pretty excited I can check my email with it. Sloooow progress!

Oh that would make the decision for a new phone so much easier! I hate it when it’s time for a new phone, there are just too many options. Sigh.

I have a pantech ease. It makes and receives calls & texts. That’s it. The camera & video camera are horrible. I use an ipod touch for everything else.

Oh how I would love a new smartphone! My current one is a very early version that is not very fast. My girls have thrown my current phone a few too many times and it looks like a disaster!

I have a 1st generation Droid and it’s just about done for. I can’t call out half the time but it still texts and emails great!!!

I have a Droid Incredible that loves to shut down on occasion. Which is not awesome.

I have the first generation Droid also, and I better remember how to get back home if I use Navigation to get there, because it drains my battery to non-existent.

Ok, so I have an iPhone 4, but the back is smashed to bits because I have a habit of allowing my phone to fall from great heights. I’ll say I need some Kevlar in my life.

My handy-dandy trusty phone is 5 years old and I still love it. But it’d be nice to actually DO something with my phone besides call…

Does the phone come with service for x amount of time? Or do you win the phone and then have to pay for the data plan? Just curious, since the data plan (and my utter desire not to pay for one) is the reason I have a POS clunker phone that does nothing but make calls.

Ditto many of the above… I thought I was alone in using a prepaid plan and a phone from the 2000s. SIGH. I want this phone.. but do I want the monthly service bill… that is the bigger question.

Oh, my poor, sad phone. It’s old…it makes calls and texts. It has a camera that used to work, but won’t anymore. I try and take pictures and it won’t save because I “have no memory available”. But I don’t have anything saved on the phone, so I’m not sure why I wouldn’t have enough memory!

So….this is embarrassing. I am currently using a Razr phone. The original pink one. Yeah. So, I could REALLY use a new phone. Just sayin’.

I have an old flip phone that won’t hold a charge anymore. My husband has a razor. We keep saying we should upgrade but the cost is keeping us from making the leap.

I’m so old school I’m still using my Razor from 2005. It’s a flip phone and has no ammenities and I regularly get laughed at by my friends for using it (which isn’t very much). I’m a mom to four, so it seems fitting that I should have something coated in Kevlar – don’t you think?

My favorite sandwich is the TBM from Cosi – I very much miss cosi now that I live back in Indiana.

I NEED a new phone. I have 4 kids under 4 and mine barely makes calls anymore!!

My phone is the cheapest phone ever made…I only use it to talk. Half the time it doesn’t even serve that purpose. But, on the upside…I’m not afraid to let my kids hold it or play with it!

I need a phone…Not so much for me but for my boyfriend. His is useless, and the screen is cracked. And he said he wasn’t going to replace it until he could get a Droid!

My second-floor master bathroom toilet overflowed exactly one week ago today. By the time we realized it, we had water coming through the ceilings in the living room, office, and BASEMENT playroom. I have massive holes in my drywall and floors as a result, and it’s going to take weeks to put the house back together. Winning a fun new phone would really, REALLY cheer me up.

This would be sweet!!! My phone doesn’t have a working “send” button anymore… meaning I have to use the voice command anytime I place a call! I have seen a few people staring at me as I command my phone to “CALL PAPA AND NANA!” in public. You have to laugh somedays…

Current is a Samsung Galaxy – but I have my doubts the LTE works out here in the boonies. {*grin*}

Wow…a new phone. I have had the same tired (non-smart) Blackberry for four years now. In fact, the word “Blackberry” now just says “Bl y”. I could certainly use a new phone. In fact, just today, I pushed the “stop” button (the red one that hangs up when I am done talking) and it got stuck. It beeped one long beep for about 30 minutes. Nice.

On a side note – I have been following your blog for about two years now. Love you. Love your pictures. Love your writing.

About my phone…. I have a Palm Pre that I bought used. My old phone kicked the bucket, but I scarified my early upgrade to my techno geek hubby, so he could have his iPhone. Fast forward nine months later- I’m eight months pregnant, and the Breadwinner still has his iPhone in pristine condition. My Palm’s screen is cracked, the ringer turns off on its own, and the keys stick. Hey, don’t blame the last two quirks on me. However, the only electronic device I treat with any sort of gentleness is my beloved Canon t2i, but that camera is my firstborn.
Why should you give me this Driod? Because if it is made of Kevlar, it should come to live with me. I need an indestructible phone, not just for me, but my infant. I need a smartphone to access websites that tell me how to take care of my child when I am out and about. I need to stay connected, yo.

I need this phone. I need a phone. Currently the phone I have is a samsung something that is a touch screen. The screen is so scratched and cracked that I can barely see anything and can’t really make calls on it because the screen sucks so bad. I’m really a fan of the avacado BLT, though my husband, who I would give this to because his phone keeps turning off & is functionally useless because of it, is more of a ham & swiss kind of guy.

And I’m awfully impressed by all teh space age materials going on there – it really IS a droid, not just a phone! wow.

I have an old lg phone that is not smart at all!

After wrestling with my boys in the leaves…my father in law set fire to the piles for the boys to watch…the down-side: My current phone at the bottom of the ashes and no insurance. Motorolla is BY FAR my favorite carrier and this would simply be amazing!

awww I was looking through your posts and your pictures are all stunning, and your little girl is so adorable and huggable such precious memories are on this page. I’m doing well, happy its Sunday, not happy tomorrow is Monday, but healthy and happy. I currently have an iPhone, I’m happy with it, but have always been curious about the other side of smartphones.. the AMOLED screen is very very tempting. But honestly I am entering in hopes of winning so I can give one fabulous gift to someone dear and someone whom I know needs a new phone.
