Pantene Full & Thick Review and Giveaway.

***This is a compensated review from BlogHer and Pantene Full and Thick***

About three months ago I admitted to losing my hair at 26 due to hormonal complications associated with PCOS. Now it didn’t help much that prior to losing my hair by the handful in the shower I normally had my hair cut in such a way that thinned it out immensely. While I am blessed to have lots and lots of naturally wavy/curly hair, it is very very fine and the best way I had found to have it cut was to always have it thinned out. It allowed my curls to come through and was never weighed down.

That is until I started losing it.

When your hair is already thinned out on purpose and you add actually losing it to the equation?

I SHED A LOT OF TEARS AND BOUGHT A LOT OF HATS.

With my last haircut I didn’t allow her to thin it out at all. And thankfully with some changes to my diet I stopped losing my hair and finally felt like it could begin to recover. So when I had the opportunity to try Pantene Full & Thick?  I took it.

You see, I think a good hair day is one of best things that can happen to a girl. When I have a good hair day I don’t want to go to bed, I don’t want it to end.  You know when it’s shiny, and bouncy and it curls juuust right? Not to mention how fantastic it is to be able to flip your hair around and be surrounded with the intoxicating smell of clean hair.

So far Pantene Full & Thick has been able to deliver just that. Slowly I’m regaining my glorious head of hair I had before hormones attacked my follicular livelihood. With a few more months of the right shampoo and some good trims to even out the hair I have with the hair I’ve lost I think I have a good hairy future.

Now Pantene wants to give you the opportunity to have the all the good hair days you can handle with a year’s supply of Pantene products and a $100 Visa Gift card. Can you just smell the deep conditioner and see the glittering highlights?

I can.

The number one element that gives me a great hair day is volume. If I have volume, I have a good hair day. And it makes me feel gorgeous.

The element that I need to have a good hair day, is that it is oil free. I have the oilest hair known to man, and I cannot even go 24 hours without needing a wash. So when it is super clean, then it looks good.

I wonder if Panteen would actually work like this lady says. I know people who could benefit from having more hair and keeping the hair they have. It’s a serious problem for some people, and if they could find a cure that would be wonderful.

I already use Pantene so my hair already has that a good hair day feeling. And it smells good. Almost good enough to eat.

I would have to say when my hair is smooth, shiny and thick! I wish I could have that everyday!

I’ve been a fan of Pantene since that whole “Don’t hate me cause I’m beautiful” campaign with Kelly LeBrock.

I say it all the time.

“Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful, yo!”

I think the number one thing that makes me feel good about my hair is the smell. For real!

Good hair day for me = volume. When my hair goes flat I feel so gross that it’s all downhill. :(

I love what you’ve said here about Pantene – I might have to try it now!

I love love love the way Pantene smells!

#1 element for a good hair day is when my hair shines and doesn’t look dry and dull. My hair is NOT dry, but for some reason it always looks dry and doesn’t have that super healthy gleam that other people have. :-( It makes me sad.

The number one element that gives me a great hair day is the simple fact that it’s not sticking up anywhere all crazy like! ;)

For me, no frizz=good hair day. Bonus if my ends aren’t curling different directions.

When I don’t have to do a darn thing to it!

(which includes a salon blow-out)

I also tweeted: http://twitter.com/bessieviola

I have the same hair you describe- pretty curly, lots of it, but super fine individual strands. It is a conundrum I tell you. So when my curls dry without being too “fluffy” (not enough product) “frizzy” (weather related) or “crunchy & thin” (too much mousse, oops) then I’m a happy camper.

#1- Clean
(And that doesn’t happen nearly as often as it should!)

The good hair day is always slightly dirty! my hair always looks best the day after I wash it!

The one thing that make my hair day good is when my hair is NOT limp and has some texture to it.

Those days are rare.

My element of a good hair day is when I have volume at the roots. If they are oily and slicked down then forget about it. I feel like a troll!

samanthajocampen at gmail dot com

I get my good hair juju when I’ve got some volume to it. I’ve got pretty thick hair, but it’s heavy, so it gets weighted down pretty quickly. Just the right amount of volume and swing? I feel like I’m dancing through the opening credits of the Mary Tyler Moore show, throwing my hat in the air. Heh.

Product, Product, Product means good hair day!

I’m already completely bald, because of a disease I have, so for me, the best hair days are the week or so after I get a new wig. When I did have hair, it was thick and curly, and what would make me feel great was when I could manage to have the top not be completely flat due to the weight of the rest of my hair.
Now, my husband is the one with great hair in this household. He’s had this long (like, past his shoulderblades) blond mane for as long as I’ve known him. And, being a typical guy, he would never ever ever use conditioner, so combing consisted of him tearing his hair out of his head trying to get through the tangles. Today I took him for a haircut and wow. They shortened and layered it, and he looks like a completely new guy, and was actually looking at PRODUCT. Like… CONDITIONER. Wonders will never cease(um, again, I think that I wrote a novel in your comments).

A good hair day? Full, thick, shiny, and not in my face.

i too have very fine hair, so i love when my hair has volume (but not nasty humidity volume) and my bangs stay tidy and in the right direction. it doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it’s bliss!

Sadly, a good hair day for me is when I don’t get that little halo of curly frizz around my face when it’s supposed to be slicked back in a ponytail. Which is every day.

I, too, have had hormonal issues that thin my formerly super thick hair. I think it’s finally starting to thicken up again after several years of losing it by the handful!

The smell. I love the smell of clean hair. I also like it when it falls sexily across my face but STAYS OUT OF MY EYES.

I have super thick, wavy/curly hair. I need tons of conditioner just to get a brush through it. So a good hair day to me is being able to comb it. (and having it not dry in a fuzz ball helps too)

yes.

My best hair day is when I get my hair cut and she styles it for me! I’m got great with hair. I do want to try the volumizing Pantene because my hair is very fine.

I need this for my teenaged boys and their rockstar hair. Seriously. For me, the good hair feeling comes when I conquer my nemesis, Florida’s humidity, with the perfect storm of product, will and magic.

The number one element that gives me the good hair day feeling is shine. I have long hair that has been dyed on and off for years so its generally pretty matte, but when its shiny I feel like a million bucks.

The number one element that gives me that good hair day feeling is having my hair super shiny and soft. I color my hair often so a great shampoo and conditioner are a must!

No frizz. Must have lack of frizz.

The #1 element for me? NO FRIZZ! When I have a super soft fizzless hair day, I feel like I can conquer the world! Bring it on Pantene!

A good hair day is no frizz and smooth hair!

I haven’t used Pantene for a couple of years but I would love to try it, especially since my full hair has gone by the wayside (probably my PCOS).

A good hair day is volume with no frizz — almost impossible in New Orleans, I’ve learned.

When my hair does that little curl at the ends all by itself(making it look as if I spent 30 minutes curling it to be all pretty and what not) THAT’S a good hair day. My hair is thick thick thick and heavy ~ to get it to curl is a miracle of epic proportions.

And any day there’s no baby puke in it. Those days rock.

@Bellamomma,

We are an all Pantene household. A good hair day for me is when I get my curl on. Since the birth of my second child, my curl has really increased and I use the Pantene Hydrating Curls to enhance it further. Husband uses full and thick and likes it very much.

Best hair day feeling: when it isn’t humid so my hair doesn’t frizz beyond all control. So, basically just the end of September, early October and a random week in early March.

when my curls spring like Jake’s (and The Moosh’s) and don’t get so big i have a fro.

or the day after i’ve straightened it and the ends curl JUST RIGHT

I’ve always found Pantene to work the best on my crazy-thick-jungle hair. And it smells amazing!

A good hair day is all about the shine! (not the slick, I look like I washed my hair in crisco, shine)

I use Pantene 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner. Works like magic for me :)

Is it too obvious to say clean hair? Seriously, I’m a mother. Getting a shower is a miracle, and having clean hair is the ONLY way I get a chance at a good hair day!

i’m all about the scent for me. i love love love yummy-smelling hair

A good hair day for me is a day when my curls are bouncy and riglet-like without one iota of frizz.

knoxvillepixie Reply:

@knoxvillepixie, I meant ringlet-like. I really should check my comments for typos befre posing them.

For me, it’s a good hair day when the frizz is under control. Great contest!! :D

For me, it’s when it’s super super super straight and shiny…and it almost only happens when I go get it cut…but still…that’s what makes for a GREAT hair day for me.

I have that good hair day feeling when my hair lays nice and straight and doesn’t flip out! When it flips out – I flip out! I also tweeted here: http://twitter.com/aph11577

I think a good hair is volume, shine and oil free. My hair is super thick and fine so it’s not the shiniest, and lays pretty flat. Not to mention I can’t go one day without washing bc it’s looks filthy! I love the feel of volume bounce and that shine !!!

It’s a good hair day when I have CURLS and not a frizzy/fluffy mess!

I’ve recently returned to Pantene after a long break where I was buying other brands on sale. I had some Pantene samples that I tossed in my gym bag. So much better — and after an hour in the pool! I may never switch back …

When my post-bad haircut-growing out bangs sit just right and don’t hang in my face all crazy-like. And? Clean. Kids, yo.

My best hair days are when my hair looks full and shiny but not too “poofy”.

Best hair day = when it’s the perfect length and looks just like you want it to.

I love my hair when I get to have enough time to curl it. With 2 kids that happens every solar eclipse.

Oh for me a good hair day is to have the “right”amount of volume and still have it totally straight– I too get my hair thinned because otherwise I have NO hope at having volume. And of course there has to be shine. If I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and say “wow, I should actually leave the house today my hair looks so good” then I KNOW it’s a good hair day.

Good hair for me happens on the day after I wash it. Day one it’s REALLY clean, but day two it’s got just enough dirt in it to do whatever I want.

Because I have flat hair, any day where it can be convinced to have volume and that volume isn’t destroyed by wind (or a slight breeze) is a good hair day.

If my bangs lay correctly it’s definately a good hair day.

I can just smell the deep conditioner and see the glittering highlights. Because my hair? It’s gettin’ to where it be needin’ some conditioner, yo.

Good hair day feeling: when it’s been hours and it’s still slightly wet. It’s so dry here in the desert that when my hair is completely dry, it just sorta flies off my head like this.

When it bounces and is shiney. I love shiney hair!

A good hair day for me means no Frizz ’cause the frizz WILL turn to snarls.

That would be really exciting to have my hair “fixed” it’s been really sad and shedding like crazy lately.

No frizz/poof makes a good hair day for me! I’ve been losing hair like crazy since I had my second 7 months ago. It so sad to squeeze water out of your hair and end up with a handful of hair.

[...] Why make such a big deal out of my hair? Three reasons. One? I’m having a giveaway based on all things follicular. You want to win. Promise. Find all the details here. [...]

My hair has changed a lot lately, so it’s hard to say what a good hair day would be because I feel like my hair is a stranger! It’s hard, because I’ve always had very easy, pretty hair. So now! I have to deal with it! And it’s too short to pull into a pony tail right now. All that to say, I’d like a great, magical haircut the $100 gift card could provide!

I had the same hair-loss problem AFTER having my baby! I need to check my hormones, YO! Also? Got the horrid post-partum cry cry cry haircut. Quite obviously, I need the help.

As a PCOS-er myself, I, too, know the pain of losing hair and what a good hair day can do.

For me, the best part of a good hair day is smooth volume. My hair tends to be frizzy when it has volume, so something that can give me lift while taming my naturally wavy hair is a godsend.

My best hair day is when my hair is tame and not frizzy. A good conditioner (and yes it’s usually Pantene Pro-V smooth) makes all the difference. Plus, if I use decent round brush and there’s NO HUMIDITY.

I have lots of fine curly hair too. I’ve never tried thinning it though :/

blow drying my hair…it’s the only way I get volume

A good hair day for me is when my hair is shiny. For me, having shiny hair that sits just right and smells great can put me in the best mood.

The number one element is that magic moment when I take my hair out of a ponytail and it actually looks good down! It’s illusive and doesn’t happen often, but when it does the birds sing and rainbows appear. It is wonderful!

A good hair day involves Pantene. Smooth and soft hair. Yes, I need volume but smooth and soft gets me happy every time. After I spent $50 on a ritzy conditioner at the salon, I couldn’t believe that spending a few bucks on Pantene’s moisture repair mask worked WAY better.

I totally give up on how to find the link to the actual tweet but I promise I did it:
http://twitter.com/ohhbetsy

I am having a good hair day if my hair is shiny and smooth. Pantene Ice makes that happen for me.

Really just getting to take a shower is the number one element but after that its my Chi. Must have the Chi.

Sorry Casey my comments were acting wacky. I tried to leave my first one and then the tweeted one. Let me know if I need to delete.

Good shampoo/conditioner that leaves my hair feeling clean but not waxy and flat. And that still feels good by the end of the second day.

I love a good, swingy hair day when
my hair feels light and fresh!

My best hair days are when my hair is actually straight. I know, it sounds like I should embrace the curls, but it’s just not quite curly enough to be curly, and not quite straight enough to be straight. A day without bumps is a GREAT DAY!

The number one element to my having a good hair day is something that I really can’t control, which is: good weather. And here in Ohio, there aren’t many days that fall into that category. I have fine wavy/curly hair (which is also on the thin side thanks to hypothyroidism, despite being controlled by medication), so any kind of rain/snow/humidity (which is 90% of the time here) makes even my best efforts go to ruin in a short time. Humidity is my nemesis!

A good hair day for me is a day with NO FRIZZ. The midwest humidity can really do a number on my ‘do. The damp air usually does just enough with my natural wave to make my hair all lumpy and bumpy with crazy little flyaways sticking out every which way.

My hair is super oily so I love it most when it has been freshly washed and blown dry. I really need to get it done again. I usually go 6 to 8 months before I head back to the salon.

I tweeted! I don’t know how to link to a single tweet, but I @’d you!

Twitter: http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/28726594.rss

When my curls behave, I feel like a million bucks. Curly hair can be a crapshoot… you never know if it’ll curl nicely or just fly off in eight thousand directions, so when I wake up and my hair doesn’t have any weird straight parts or frizzies sticking out everywhere, it makes me happy.

Like seven said, that good hair day feeling comes from having my curly hair actually curl properly. It tends to just do that half curl half wave thing, with extra frizz thrown in. But when it actually curls? I love it so.

My tweet:
http://twitter.com/aliengurl4004/status/2447475679

When I wear my hair straight, the #1 element is NO HUMIDITY! When i wear it curly, it is no frizziness.

Dude. A good hair day is when my stupid bangs actually dry straight and don’t get all greasy, and my hair is all soft and it goes up into a bun without poking all out on the top.

http://twitter.com/hekangrui/status/2447726244

Done tweeted.

A proffessional styling is the only way I get that god hair day feeling. To me, they’re magicians!

Pantene is a poor girl’s lifesaver.

Seriously–without it my head would look like a 3 year old’s favorite barbie.

NOT. PRETTY.

It’s all about the shine for my favorite hair days. Healthy light shine.

I’m not sure what is up with my hair, but I’ve had two GUYS comment on how cute it is and how flattering it is on me…that’s great but the only bad part is I’m not doing anything differnt with it!

I have a LOT of hair, and it almost always is weighted down and poofs out at the bottom, like an inverted triangle. I love it when I have sleek smooth hair that doesn’t weight 80 pounds.

A good hair day for me is one that is lacking in the frizz factor. I have thick/wavy/curly hair, so any day where I don’t have a major afro going on is a good hair day :-)

No frizz= Great hair day!!

My Bangs! The either make or break my hair day. Sadly they usually break it. But when they cooperate…voila!

my best hair days are right after I’ve had it colored because of the deep conditioning that they do along with it. seriously, my hair is so silky and shiny, but being a very poor newlywed/recent college grad does not agree with getting my hair colored professionally (playing for the sympathy vote here) :)

If I can control the frizz, I’m happy. If my hair can be shiny and bouncy, too…that’s a bonus!

I’ll tell what it’s not…humidity. I know, I know… I live in the wrong place. Being Frizz-free is so liberating.

A good hair day? 1. When my curls stay curled all day and don’t fall flat half way through. 2. When I straighten it and the frizz does not take over! Sadly- no money for professional styling right now.

My hair is naturally curly. If I can get a product to smooth the frizz and help my curls look good, it is a GREAT hair day!!!!

Ugh. I almost never have good hair days, because I have baby-thin, fine hair, and I, too, am balding (postpartum hormones). But occasionally my hair doesn’t flip out, and seems clean and full and shiny. Very, very occasionally.

For me a good hair day is when both sides are flipping the right way. Or doing anything the same way. It never fails one side of my hair has lots of volume the other is flat, one side is eating up the curls while the other is flipping all over the place. If its even its awesome!

My best hair days are frizz-free. I have curly hair that I usually straighten, but I can even take the curls when they decide not to turn into a frizzy mess!

My hair falls out in clumps, too, due to PCOS.

A good hair day for me is a day when I get the combination of styling products and blow drying just right, and have NO FRIZZ. Which is trickier than it sounds because I live in Michigan, where we have “Lake Effect” humidity, and there are days where the second I step out of the shower, bits of my hair start swelling up and sticking straight out and up no matter what I do.

But those days when it’s frizz free and smooth as silk? Those are GOOD DAYS indeed.

Entry #2 I tweeted the giveaway link: http://twitter.com/Table4Five

Best thing to make me feel a happy hair day is when I get it cut…my hair looks so good I’m bouncing with happiness

When it has volume and I don’t look like I am from Utah County.

Being a busy mom who doesn’t have hours to get ready in the morning, I’d have to say that my best days are when my husband notices my hair and takes the time to tell me how nice it smells. It’s the little things!

Fixed my Tweet…

http://twitter.com/holyschmidt/status/2464376734

The element? Clean hair. I know you’re not supposed to wash every day, but I hate how it feels when I don’t.

Had straight hair for 27 years. Six years and three babies later? Super curly. I’m talking 1988 perm curly. Just without the claw bangs. Don’t quite know what to do. The grass is always greener…

My good hair day involves a lack of humidity. I normally straighten my very thick and dense, naturally curly hair. If it’s humid, my hair takes on a life of its own. a very, very terrifying life of its own. The best hair I ever had was when I spent a week in Colorado. The change in humidity from the extremes of Kentucky was a blessing.

I definitely have to have shine to have a good hair day! Volume’s nice too, but my hair is super fine and straight, so volume doesn’t have much home in my hair!

*Glisten*
When the light hits my highlights just right and the shine and volume stars align and I can look at myself in the mirror and say “Damn, you are one hot mama!”….That, my friends, is a good hair day.

My postpartum hair is OUT. OF. CONTROL. A good hair day for me now is when the hundreds of little baby hairs from all the hair I’ve lost doesn’t stand straight up.

I feel like I’ve had a good hair day when it doesn’t look like a cat shed in the shower!! I’ve got a hormonal imbalance as well and am looking forward to trying this out. My mom just bought a bottle today because she is loosing her hair as well.

It’s always nice to be able to wear my hair down instead of putting it up under a ball cap!

Good hair days come for me when I can get my hair blow dried just right so that it covers up the ridiculous “cowlick” I have in the back. Actually, there’s like 3 of them that all conspire together some days, determined to make white, scalp-y lines at the crown of my head. They’ve tormented me and will continue their tormenting but some days….they decide to behave. Yes, those are GOOD days.

My good hair days always have volume and a lack of frizz. Combine those two items, and it’s likely to be a day without a hat.

A good hair day = shiny bouncy curls and no frizz!

Great smelling hair and my curls being soft and not frizzy

A good hair day for me is when my hair doesnt frizz at the crown. All it does is frizz at the crown. gah

I love Pantene hairspray! My unruly hair is under control and its not sticky or stiff! Perfect hair days are easy to hold!

I live in GA, if the humidity is Low and there is NO rain. it is GONNA be a GREAT hair day!!!! Otherwise, I might be messing with my hair, adding some hairspray and it is gonna be iffy! hahah. I used to love a ton of pouffy.. the 80’s hair! Now I like it smoother.. and more tame!

Honestly, probably other people telling me that I’m having a good hair day. I don’t have a good sense of when my hair is behaving itself and when it’s doing its own thing, so I rely on others to tell me.

If my hair has BODY then I am happy!!

When my hair is so and shiny it makes me feel wonderful the whole day.

I’d have to say just having the luck and the special smile and swagger that makes you feel you look great, including your hair of course – is the key.

I’m having a good hair day when my bangs stay in place and don’t look all oily!

I love when my bangs are perfectly straight and look smooth, not oily. Perfection!

When my hair is all in place and looks shiny and moothis when I have a good hair day.

Tameness. If I can find the time to dry my hair and straighten it just enough to make it not so thick and tame the fly-a-ways, I feel like my hair’s amazing.

Number one thing for my good hair day is fullness. Happy Hair Day when hair feels thick!

The number one thing I need to have a good hair day is a great conditioner. My hair tends to get a bit frizzy without it.

I live in GA, and in humid conditions; However, I love it when my hair stays bouncy and holds it’s curls (all day).

The element that gives me that good hair day feeling is lots of beautiful body!

My hair is fine with a gentle wave. A good hair day is when it has body and bounce and it doesn’t go limp on me. I don’t ask for curls, just to maintain shape with a little body

Simply when all hair goes in the direction it’s supposed to.
Sometimes parts of it want to go one way & parts of it another.

The number one element that gives me a great hair day is body and volume.

The number 1 element would have to be the right Shampoo smell. If it smells good I can usually get it too look just as good. Hopefully

Shiny, clean hair

The one thing I have to have to have a good hair day is for my hair to stay the way it looks when I leave my bathroom. Evidently I have a magic mirror that tells me my hair is full, flipped up in the right spots, lying flat in the right spots, is smooth, and makes me look beautiful. As soon as I walk out of my bathroom and outside, the Southern humidity takes over and my hair becomes his. So being able to conquer the humidity would give me endless good hair days. One can only wish!

A flatiron

i wish i wasn’t lazy enough to actually take care of my hair in the morning. if i do i love it, if i don’t i hate but but i got 10 mins of extra sleep, so i guess it cancels outs :)

volume with NO frizz. my hair looked great now for 2 days in a row. its a rainy daay today, so when i fix it tomorrow the frizz will return. i use the pantene for blonde hair. i just got the full and thick stuff. i havent tried it yet.

I love when I get a good haircut, and about a week later it’s perfect….not too short, neat, and colored nicely. I also like my hair after I use a leave-in conditioner.

A compliment! It makes my day.

I love the first few days after I get a cut and color (and my eyebrows waxed) – my hair is shiny and cooperative. I think it carries through to my attitude. When I feel pretty and confident, I am in such a better mood.

clean hair with no knots

When it feels clean, and actually will allow me to style it.

When my hair is totally smooth, then I’m having a good hair day. I usually have a big frizz ball on my head most days!

When my thick, unruly hair decides to lie flat and not be frizzy for a change!

I love Pantene–I just started using it and it really is good stuff. I have to have volume to feel good about my hair.

I feel good when my hair is “full”. My hair is thin and I love extra volume.

I usually would say I am NOT having a good hair day, no matter what. My hair pretty much does what it wants. So imagine the day of my son’s wedding when a friend was doing my hair and she said “You are SO lucky to have such cool body to your hair.” Wow. Now, I add the right products and can usually get a favorable response!

I have a good hair day (which is very rare) when my hair feels full and fluffy.

I love when my hair is light and bouncy. Has body. Then I feel like I am having a good hair day. When it is flat and sticking to my face, bad day :)

The number one good hair day aspect for me is no frizzies. I live in the south with alot of humidity and this can be a problem for me.

I have fine hair and it only looks best when blown dry and fluffed up. Usually about two weeks after a hair cut it looks its best.

For me it’s a lack of frizz

My number one element for great hair would have to be no humidity. Humidity makes my hair frizzy and unmanageable. Thanks.

The number one element that gives me the “good hair day feeling” is when I am washing it and I run my fingers through it and they come out without 200 hairs attached. Those are my good hair days, because I too am dealing with thinning hair from PCOS.

P.S. Would love to know the dietary changes you made to reverse your hair loss. Good for you!

When my curls have definition and not frizz, it’s a good day!

I have to take a shower every morning in order to have a good hair day. If I wash my hair at night, I look like I had a true nightmare in the morning :)

Thanks for the GREAT giveaway!

clemensrhonda@hotmail.com

I hsve long very thick curly hair and my number one element would be not to have the frizzies and have great curl definition.

The one element that makes me feel like I am having a good hair day is a day with no frizz. My hair frizzes at the slightest bit of moisture.
iheartsweeping@aol.com

I got to say the one element that helps me have a good hair day is just getting that morning shower and washing my hair. It just feels so good.

a comment from my daughter telling me my hair is nice.

My good hair day element would have to be when all of the ends are curled and I don’t have any “spikies” as I like to call them. LOL!

The element I know that would constitute as a good hair day is when I wake up in the morning and my hair is shining!

Clean hair!

When the humidity outside is down to about 40% instead of like 75%.lol.

A good hair day for me means no frizz. My curls are smooth and ruly.

No frizz, please i AM on my knees here
NO FRIZZ

deep conditioning.

When I get my frizz under control and my hair is freshly colored, I feel gret.

My hair feels and looks best when I have just had it highlighted and of course styled at the salon!

i tweeted about the giveaway!

Whenever I use my hair straightener after I shampoo my hair then it feels great and sleak. I love it except that it just takes a while to do my long hair.

Conditioning my hair makes it feel so good!

Having the time to roundbrush my hair while I’m blowing it dry makes my hair so much prettier than when I pull it into a ponytail damp… Thanks for the giveaway~

I would say the most important thing is a good conditioner that makes my hair feel soft, and smell lovely!

I would have to say the appearance of volume! I have a lot of hair, but it’s very fine and straight as a stick. On my best hair days, my hair has volume and bounce.

When I am having fun it seems to put an extra bounce and sheen in my hair.

The absolute number one element to give my hair that feel good feeling is to wash it and sit out on the deck and let it dry naturally.

Smoothness. I like my hair straight and smooth.

I tweeted.

Lots of volume makes for a good hair day.

my hair always looks thin, so I love when it’s got some body and texture to it…like what a day at the beach does to it

A good hair day for me is plenty of volume on top without having to get a top perm. I also love a clean, fresh scent and shine.

I have a good hair feeling when I can get my bangs to lay right which is seldom.

I color my hair because of the grey and I also permed it!! So I need to take great care of it!

The number one element is no frizzes.

A good hair day is when it has enough body without being oily to stay up out of the way all day.

I got a cut and perm. They cut my hair too short and then burnt it when they permed it.

My hair is thick it just needs body

I feel good when my hair is cut attractively, clean and shining.

Leave In Conditioner is a must for my hair!

I love the Pantene conditioner. It’s all I will use. It makes my hair silky, shiney and knot free!! Me and daughter won’t use anything else!

Great smell from freshly shampooed hair.

When I can get my hair to stay flat and not frizz I know it’s going to be a good day!

When I can control the frizz my hair looks great. It is hard to find a product that controls frizz but does not leave hair greasy (hint got2B). I also use spray in conditioner. So a good day is a day free of frizz!

i like it shiny :0)

I’m having a good hair day when it only takes me 10 minutes or less to dry and style.

hate wavy frizz fly away

Lack of excessive humidity is pretty much a guarantee my hair will behave.

I love it when my hair looks like it should, not frizzy or wind blown.

I got that good hair day feeling when I have lots of body.

Thed absolute #1 element for a good hair day for me is scrupulously clean hair! Thank you!

No humidity in the air — my hair always frizzes out on humid days, and we’ve had a ton this Summer.

My curling iron sets the tone for my day of hair. If I don’t use it I might as well put my hair in a ponytail.

A good hair day for me is if my hair looks shiny and has some volume, but no frizziness.

When I step out of the beauty shop. I just cant seem to do anything to have it look like I want but hairdressers can do miracles.

I feel like I’m having a good hair day when it curls “just so” without going over the edge to frizzy! Thanks for the contest!

I feel like I’m having a good hair day when my hair is super soft. Usually it’s after a hair cut or when I use a new brand of shampoo and conditioner.

Soft hair makes it a good hair day for me.

Good hair day is when it lays where I want it to.

No stickie-uppies (cowlicks) or stickie-outies (wings!)

When it is NOT frizzy. My hair breaks very easily and it ends up being different lengths. Yikes.

No fly aways! and shine!

I love it on those rare days when my hair isn’t frizzy.

Clean and soft hair make it a great hair day for me.

When its styled perfectly the way I want it and no parts from cowlicks

Any no-Frizz day is a good hair day for me!! God’s Blessings to all…

I love volume but with my hair I just can’t get that. Thanks.

I usually have that “good hair day feeling” for at least a few days after getting mine cut. And since I can’t afford to get it cut more than a couple of times a year (barring special events), I don’t get that feeling too often!

Anytime it looks clean and shiny is a good hair day

the number one element that gives me that good hair day feeling is soft hair

The number one element that gives me a good hair day is when I can get the crown area of my hair to have volume. For some unknown reason my hair is thinning and becoming quite a problem.

The one element that gives me that good hair day feeling is when my naturally curly hair doesn’t go on the frizzy wild ride.

I can only have a good hair day on low humidity days or with the help of frizz-eaze. Otherwise my hair is a frizz monster

Number one for me is a great haircut. If you have a bad haircut, you will never have a good hair day.

I have a great hair day whenever someone compliments my hair!!

I like my hair clean & soft.

When I can get my hair to appear to have some oomph, and to keep it throughout the day, that’s a fabulous hair day! Too bad there aren’t many of those!

having great conditioner is what makes my day! no tangles!

when my hair is not frizzy!!! if there’s no humidity in the air (ha! i live in florida) then i know it will be a fabulous hair day :-)

thanks for the great contest!!!

my frizzies means its gonna be a great hair day!

For me to have a good
hair day would be no
frizzes.

The number one thing that makes a good hair day is if my hair FEELS good! If my hair feels smooth and silky, then the rest of me feels good, too.

Number one thing that makes a good hair day is my hair actually looking full! I have PCOS also and have lost way too much hair and it just keeps falling out :(

Don’t laugh but the number one concern for me is hair loss. I used to have so much! I’m not a “hair club” candidate YET. Maybe Pantene could fluff it out a bit. Right now the number one element besides hair loss it the weather. Please no rain and keep the humidity moderate. No droopy or staticy hair please.

When my hair behaves after blowing it dry … it never happens when I’m on vacation … so I always have bad hair days in vacation pictures!

my best good hair day feeling is after ive washed my hair and it has dried I bruch it out and it looks so full and thick ( my hair is very fine) and I love it then

Days with no humidity!!! I love when my naturally curly hair behaves!!!

I love the days when the hair on both sides of my head decide to do the same thing – whether it is flip out or curl under, I just love it when they’re in agreement!

It’s a good hair day if my hair looks shiny with no flyaways.

My hair looks great when my coils don’t look frizzy.

Softness. When I feel how soft it feels and that it just falls where I want it, I know it is a good hair day.

My hair is lifeless most of the time, so when it has even the tiniest bit of a bounce, I consider it a good hair day.

If my hair is not in my eyes and greasy, I’m happy.

The days I take a shower and let my hair air dry without all the fuss and muss, and it still looks good…that’s the element for a great hair day.

when my hair has more body and has shine too it Im happy.
tishajean@charter.net

I like it when I fix my hair and it stays fixed all day!

no frizz , shiney and lots of volume!

a good day is when you didn’t sleep on it wrong and you can just do a little fuss and be on your way

A good hair day for me means body. Normally, my hair plasters itself flat against my skull, and no amount of coaxing or product can convince it otherwise.

A good hair day feeling is when my hair doesn’t feel thick and frizzy

Clean hair. I only get to shower once every couple days since my son is at that get into everything phase, so anyday I have clean hair is a good hair day! Thanks! thebubbledies(at)gmail(dot)com

A good hair day is one with volume and having it stay where it is supposed to stay!

Hair loss at 26 must have been devastating! I found my first grey at that age – I can’t imagine actually losing my hair. A good hair day for me these days is when the flyaways are under control and the style falls the way I want it to.

When it lays “just right” and I feel it looks good, then that is a good hair day for me.

I have coarse hair so my number one thing that makes my hair feel like its a good hair day is Softness.

When my curls actually curl right.

A good hair day for me is when my hair looks sleek and shiny. I’m not fighting my super straight hair anymore. I use a flat iron to give it even more shine. So glad the harsh perms are over with!

definitely deep conditioning weekly keeps my hair healthy and shiny

What is the number one element that gives you that good hair day feeling?

When I can find my favorite headband, I get that “good hair day feeling”.

Ummm….I’m not sure why a duplicate entry is displayed. I didn’t mean to enter twice. Please remove one – I don’t want to be disqualified.

A good day feeling for me would be lack of humidity keeping my hair the why I want it.

whipped cream gives the sheen in my hair

If I can get my hair to have some volume, it’s a good hair day.

No flyaways, and it staying straight all day!

When my hair is full of volume and bouncy it is a good day.

To consider it a good hair day, my hair needs some bounce. It can’t just be limp.

my hair is fine and straight, i dont have a curl on my head, and my hair will not hold curl at all. my perfect hair day would be lots of fluffy hair and no gray hair. thanks

I have a good hair day when it’s not flat.

When I have just the right amount of wave–not too curly, not too straight.

A good hair day for me is when mt hair isn’t dry and damaged looking.

too bad I can’t show you a picture. I have thick curly hair, and it gets to be a big puffball, especially in humid weather. Basically, if I don’t wash and style it in the morning, it looks bad, but most mornings getting the kids ready, I don’t have time to do so. So most mornings are my worst hair day.

Honestly the only time I feel like I am having a good hair day is when I have gone to get my hair styled at a beauty shop. I have spent hours on my hair trying to add the “illusion” of volume but that just makes my hair looks unbrushed and unkept. Maybe I am using the wrong products?

The #1 element that gives me a great hair day is no frizz but shine :)

a good hair feeling is when my hair looks full and thick

The number one thing that gives me a good hair feeling is volume. I love it when my hair looks light and healthy!

Thank you! :)

Everyday that I wash my hair with Pantene is a good hair day–I love the volume and shine.

The numberone thing that gives me a good hair feeling is when I run my fingers through it (its short and I don’t ususlly use a brush) and it actually goes and stays in the direction I intend and not every which way!

volume!

My fine hair lacks body, so I have to keep it squeaky clean to have any lift at all So the element I prize is cleanliness.

My best hair days are right after a hair cut. My hair always looks so healthy with a new cut.
smchester at gmail dot com

A good hair day is no humidity and newly cut.

I have very fine, thinning hair. I keep it in a short bob. If I can get it to look full without looking frizzy it makes me feel great.

There’s only one element that can give me a good hair day feeling — booze and lots of it!

keeping it clean!

Oil free for sure. My hair gets very oily fast.

I have that feeling when my hair is clean but not frizzy at all.

My “good hair” days are when my naturally curly hair is not completely out of control, but curls just the way I want it to!

Proper conditioning. My hair gets evil when it’s too dry. Too oily/dirty is managable but too dry is just plain wrong.

The number one element that gives you that good hair day feeling? For me that would be lots of moisture so my hair feels soft. Then I know I will have a good hair day.

If it swings and has shine, its a good hair day!

When my hair comes out smooth and straight and smelling wonderful it’s a great hair day for me.

Pantene always gives me that good hair day feeling! Love it!

Thank you.

that it is short and not in my face!

when my hair is clean and feels nice and soft and my curls are all in place and not stuicking up!

I have very long, straight, black hair. I love when I curl my hair and it turns out wavy and shiny.

Thanks, and good luck to all!

A good hair day for me is one where my greys are not showing!! Thanks for the great giveaway.

not frizzy.

When my hair is frizz free I feel that I have a glorious mane.

The one thing that makes me have a great hair day is for my hair to be frizz free and for my curls to stay without my hair being too greasy or too damp.

If my curls have bounce and look very healthy and frizz-free, then thats a good hair day! Thanks for the giveaway!

the number one element for me, oddly enough, is if i dont shampoo every day. it seems that when my hair isnt over managed is when it looks its best. thanks ! (freaaa@gmail.com)

Best hair day is one where the humidity is juuuuust right- not too dry or then my hair is flat, not too humid because then it’s a big frizz ball. Somewhere in the middle I get nice springy curls. :)

Is Hair Spray an element?? I need tons of super hold hair spray just to look basic.

The number one element that makes me feel like I’m having a good hair day is when it actually straightens and STAYS PUT.

If I can have a day without frizz, it’s a good hair day for me! Thanks!

The elements for me is when my hair is soft and flowing, it makes me feel so sexy! Thanks!

A key factor in me feeling good about my hair is the timing of how fast I dry it after washing/conditioning and adding product. Usually I brush my teeth after that which gives enough time for the product to set – then I blow dry. Too long and my hair is flat, dull and stringy. Too short and it is so wet – it takes forever and I usually have a headache from holding my head upside that long.

When I manage to get that piece-y look, I’m WAY happy.

A great hair day is when my hair is sleek and not so frizzy!

I wear mine straight so a good hair day is one with out the frizzies.

A good hair day means my hair is fluffy.

A good hair day is when my hairs has a little body.

Great conditioner does the trick every time.

I’d love for my poker straight hair to have some curls. When I curl it and they stay, I’m so thrilled.

Body and shine are a perfect hair day.

My element is moisture, I have a bad hair day is my hair is dry.

The number one element weould have to be when my hair has been conditioned good and I have the right amount of moisture in my hair so that it looks soft and not dry and brittle.

My hair is so flat it really needs some volume about it.

A good hair day for me is one in which my hair does what I wish and stays that way all day. It also needs to look shiny and be bouncy.

Body and lift.
When I find a shampoo that will actually make my fine hair feel fuller I am having a great hair day.

When I run the brush through my hair and it is not full, I count it as a good hair day.

If my hair feels and looks clean and full of body, that’s my elements for a good hair day.

A good conditioner.

The one element I would say is that it feels so clean.
electricisland(at)gmail.com

Washing my hair for a second time during the day refreshes me!

A good hair day for me is when it stays sleek and smooth.

Smooth ends are the best!

I’m 29 and I started losing my hair last year as a symptom of thyroid issues. I was losing so much hair that I had to buy Drano every week. I finally had enough and cut all my hair off last week – and I feel great with my new pixie cut. No more blow drying and styling – just healthy hair that makes me feel good every day!

All I really need for a good hair day is no frizz. Of course, no unruly curls helps as well!

If I used Pantene Full and Thick my hair would enter the room ahead of me. I have very thick hair already. HOWEVER! I love Pantene hair product, so I’m in!

My hair is still falling out from thyroid issues. Anxious for the return of lost luscious mane.

Good hair day feeling is: wash, dry, CHI hair straightener to get out all of the frizz! AND if it is raining, a great “super hold” gel to make non-frizz curls!

Oh, it’s two elements for me, actually, both equally important: Volume, AND whether my bangs are behaving. ;)

Please!! It’s for my husband. (Really!)

Wahing my hair.. which I don’t do NEARLY as often as I should..

Parker is one labor intensive kid.

So I would have to say that my one element to a good hair day would have to be:

a shower. Where I can actually wash my hair.

True life from a Mama to a specail needs medically fragile little boy.

The number one thing that gives me a good hair day feeling is when I know there’s no mashed up Cheerios stuck in my hair from the baby!!

Body! That doesn’t limp out on me halfway through the day.

My biggest challenge is thin hair. I need help with those!!!! Make me a winner!

Well I live in Canada, but I also have hair south of the border, so to speak. Can I play? ;-P

Good hair feeling? Nice conditioner that doesn’t leave residue and the lack of humidity (which, in Georgia, is hard to come by).

When my husband buries he head in it.

For me, my hair being soft and moisturized yet not limp is my idea of a good hair day. My hair is naturally thick and coarse, so most days I touch it and confuse it with straw.

So the morning after I sleep with deep conditioner in my hair is always a good hair day!

It would have to be finding the right shampoo! One that doesn’t make my hair to oily to manage, and to dry to look damaged. If i can get that right, than my good hair day is complete lol.

gives me a good day hair feeling.

Actually, my hair usually looks better on a no-shower day! Thanks.

A great hair day for me, is if my hair looks full, and it doesn’t look crazy, with all the hairs out of place.

When my hair does not immediatley go flat right after I walk out the door.

Shine first and volume second!

I have to wait just the right amount of time between towel drying my hair and blow drying it. I like to let it air dry for a few minutes. Too long..it dries all wierd…too little it gets fried from the heat.

Clean, shiny hair that does what I want!

I’m happy any day my hair is curly, but not frizzy!

What an excellent review. THe number one element for a good hair day for me is CLEAN hair.

To me a good hair day involves lots of shine. I love lively bouncy shiny hair. Whenever my hair feels limp or looks frizzy, it’s such a downer. I love when my hair looks good, it boosts confidence!

Clean, shiny, smooth (not frizzy) the cut is not too long or too short.

A good wash!…Always, and a must!

A new cut.

It’s the smell and shine.

Thanks

Clean hair is always the best, no matter if styled or just natural.

Shiny hair that isn’t flat and lifeless is my absolute favorite.

The number one element that gives me a great hair day is volume~as if I have my look for the day it is a great day!! :)

A hair day for ME is smoothness!

Stephanie Reply:

@Stephanie,

I meant to say a GOOD hair day for me is smoothness. I spend alot of time trying to tame the frizzies!

Shine! For it to be shiny it has to be smooth, which means I had to spend 10 minutes blowdrying it after lucking out with whatever shampoo and conditioner I use. If I can pull it all together into a soft wavy halo of love it will shine!
(This miracle only seems to happen a few times a year though ;)

My good hair day is when my hair is smooth and silky looking. My hair tends to frizz so I love when it all lays straight.

A good hair day for me would be the days my hair doesn’t frizz.

what is the number one element that gives you that good hair day feeling? – - -When its not humid outside and my hair is not frizzy.

Volume is definitely the top element I need to feel good about my hair on any given day – I have thinning locks, so anytime I feel like I have a fuller head of hair is a great thing!

If my bangs turn out right – it’s going to be a great hair day!

When my hair is sleek and shiny, I feel awesome!

When my hair looks healthy, smooth and full and does what I want it to…I am having a good healthy hair day.

A good hair day for me is when everything stays in place once I leave the house

It has to be conditioned very well. My hair tangles very easily.

I think the number one element of my hair feeling good is a great cut which I do myself after many many problems :( Now I just use a razor!

A good hair day is when my hair behaves and lies or waves in the direction it should. It also needs to be clean and shiny. Yep, that’ll do it.

i have fine, thin hair… simply put.. I have a great hair day when everything is perfect. hair shines, has lots of body and i look great. on those days i can do anything, and it works. sadly those days are few and far between.

When my hair is shiny and doesn’t kink up, then it’s a good hair day.

I know I am having a good hair day when my hair stays in place after I put it up.

I would say when my hair is shiny and looks clean.

When I have no frizz.

When my hair is soft and full of volume I am happy

I like it when my hair fees and looks silky.

it’s a good day when the frizz is under control

When my hair agrees with me about a hairstyle!

No tangles! :)

Love a good conditioner

Good hair for me means lots of conditioner and not too much humidity. I live in the South so the humidity is always a problems.
