*driving in the car listening to Christmas music*

“Christmas and I have the same first name.”

(Her actual first name is Mary…)

*snuggled up singing her ‘Silent Night’ before bedtime*

“Silent night, holy night, all is calm all is bright…um…all is calm, all is bright…shoot…”

*she turns and barks out in a whisper*

*singing along to Taylor Swift’s ‘Sparks Fly’*

Proper lyrics: “Drop everything now, meet me in the pouring rain, kiss me on the sidewalk, take away the pain.

Addie’s lyrics: “Drop everything now, meet me in the pouting rain, kiss me in the sidewalk, take away the paint.

“Mom, why does she want him to take away the paint? Is it the wrong color?”

“Addie! Sissy and Thomas are coming to see us!”

“OH! Make sure Thomas brings his fancy gel.”

However no one’s really sure what fancy gel is.

Also, this just in. Mozzi is lazy. Or she has way too much room in there for her little stunts.

Emily is giving away the world’s coolest diaper bag in celebration of Mozzi, you have until Saturday to enter, go!

  1. It is the moments like these that I love the most…. every.single.one.of.them. That sweet girl of yours is special.

  2. Addy and my youngest daughter need to meet up sometime. Sweet and observant and unpredictable! 🙂

  3. Kindergartners are the funniest people ever.

  4. I mean, really, who doesn’t want to round up their virgins?

  5. ah! Love it. Piper gets pretty upset every time someone sends her a greeting card and it’s written in “curses”. She can’t read in “curses”!

    Domestic Extraordinaire Reply:

@designHer Momma, dying laughing at the curses.

  6. She is so stinkin hilarious.

  7. I think kids say the best things ever. My kids make me laugh on a daily basis.

  8. I love kid-isms. What’s awesome is that even though they are 16 and nearly 13 I still get them from time to time. (one was documented in my latest post at Aiming Low)

  9. Kids say the funniest things. I wish I would write them all down in a book to laugh at when they are old and gone.

  10. Ow.. ow. Don’t make me laugh. It just leads to a coughing fit.

But the GO ROUND UP YOUR VIRGINS… OUCH… here I go again…

  11. I seriously love kids because they always keep it real–and add humor to the everyday.

  12. So adorable!!

  13. Addie’s real name is Mary? How did I not know that?
    That’s lovely.

  14. When our twins were 4, they loved to dance around to Shania Twain’s “Heavy Boots Under” not realizing until they were 15 that the real lyrics are “Who’s Bed Have Your Boots Been Under”. Their innocence really is bliss…
