I’ve been racking my brain trying to come up with a witty way to tell you I’m no longer moosh in indy.

As of yesterday we became moosh in utah, but it’s just not that exciting, yet

I am within walking distace to Dooce’s house for now.

That’s cool right?

Yep, finals time again. Which means I fly across the country and hide in the moosh’s grandparents houses. Five weeks away from Cody in this desert wonderland. No ex boyfriend run ins just yet, but then again it’s only been 20 hours. But believe me, you’ll be the first to know.

If you’re in Utah and want to go to Crown Burger and drown in fry sauce with me, just let me know. Has anyone seen my best friend? I can’t seem to find her. If you’re her, or you see her, will you let her know I’m looking for her? Thanks.

Well, here I am.

I’ll be here until January 7th.

Wish I had something more interesting than that.

But who are we kidding?

It’s Utah.

  1. I hope you have a good time in Utah….you will miss the signing of the beam for the new Colts’ stadium! Should I put something down for ya?

  2. What to say? Hmmm Yay! you’re home! Boo hiss finals! Yay! almost another year down and ONLY one more to go!! Hope you have a good time visitin’ all your friends and family.

  3. Ha! Us up here in Idaho, are stoked when we get to go to Utah, because it’s so dang exciting.

    Have fun with family!

  4. Cute blog! I can’t imagine having Hubby in law school….good luck with that! Enjoy the time with your family though!!!

  5. what in the heck are you doing in utah?! 🙂
    happy thanksgiving (early)!

  6. Hey, I live in Utah!!! Call me, or email me. Let’s do lunch. Even the Moosh is invited.

  7. When you said you were going I did not realize it was for FIVE WEEKS. Yikes!

Is Cody coming out at all to see you guys? Because if not, that really bites.

Maybe you should plan a play date for Moosh and Leta. That would be fun 🙂

  8. Hey — Utah isn’t that bad! 🙂 If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, there’s a cool homemade craft show going on in Daybreak tomorrow – Saturday. (ohsweetsadie.blogspot.com) I would so go to drown in Fry Sauce with you — but it’s gotta be Arctic Cirlce’s. Now THAT stuff is heaven-sent.

  9. I LOVE Utah! Ever hiked Buckskin Gulch? I did with my dad. Totally cool. It’s the longest slot canyon in the world. It opens into Paria Canyon which empties out into the Colorado River at Lee’s Ferry AZ. (Don’t go alone. And allow 4-5 days to hike it).

    Anyhow, Utah = Beautiful!

  10. Ok, good luck with that.
At least we can count on more blogs because you might get bored 🙂

  11. Fun! I bet you will definitely be keeping busy with the ‘rents. And hey, Utah has to be better than Indy right?

Hope the time flies for you guys and I hope your husband does well on his Finals!

  12. Dude, I hate to say it but I’m jealous. I would kill for more then 2 days with my family in Utah. For some damn reason The King forbids me going on vacations without him. GAG!

(I assume you’ll be together for the Holidays. So that’s good.)

I’m only familiar with Utah County stuff. So I wish I could hook you up with something fun to do in SLC. Sorry!

  13. Anne Marie says:

Casey! Call me when get a chance for some reason I don’t have your cell phone number stored in my phone it should be there but it’s not! Anyway I have to move our play date to Friday morning. CALL ME! OR I’ll be looking up your Daddy’s phone #. LOVE YOU! SOOO good to see your beautiful face today and to see the moosh.

  14. My mouth is watering. Give Crown Burger a hug for me and tell him I’ll be there in a month.

  15. I was sent to your blog by Isabel. She’s looking out for you! I live in SLC, and I’m a SAHM (baby boy-ten months old). So… if you like hanging out with strangers from the Internet, I’m your girl! 🙂

  16. Utah! I like to say that Utah is a really great place to visit … and that’s about it. =D

  17. That is so funny… I had no idea. I found your blog from reading other blog rolls. What year did you graduate? I’ll have to ask Justin.

  18. Utah. Huh? Never heard of it.

  19. ACK! Salt Lake City, oh how I love thee! It is gorgeous there and is totally on my top 2 places to move to next. (SLC or SF.. big difference, right?!)

I heart dooce. Whenever I’m in the SLC airport I always keep my eye out.. just in case. One day we’ll meet, well, maybe one day I’ll see her.. because I don’t think I’d ever have the guts to say anything to her. Kinda weird that someone you’ve been reading online since oh, 2003, is like a celebrity .. don’t you think?

  20. I’m here! SORRY FOR MY CRAZY @$$ day! SERIOUSLY Wednesday is SO not my thang…been running from one thing to another to another! Can’t wait to see ya tomorrow!

  21. Aw! You found her! Have fun you two nut cases! 😉

  22. Indy misses you…come home soon. Ok, so this isn’t home to you, but you know what I mean! We’ll miss you.

  23. Okay, well, when I finish applying to the University of Utah, and then after they accept me, and offer me a nice cushy fellowship and I move my whole family from Massachusetts to Utah, you’re the one I’m gonna turn to for advice. Just so you know.

  24. Wow. That’s a long time to be away from Cody. Hope you girls have fun (even if it is Utah).

  25. wow…that really sucks that you have to be away from Cody for that long. what are you going to do for the holidays???

hope Utah ends up being a fun-filled 5 weeks!

  26. do you have any idea how tempting it is to take a weekend trip to utah now? should you decide to take a weekend trip to texas, i’ll meet you in dallas or austin! cause seriously, you don’t wanna come to abilene

  27. Welcome to the ‘hood… sort of… I don’t exactly live in the hood, but I am MST, does that count?

Hope the five weeks just FLY BY!

  28. boo. couldn’t you be moosh in toronto…because that would be ridiculous fun! 🙂

  29. Aw man, I just left. It would have been fun to meet you. Oh, allergy-free Utah, how I miss thee!

  30. First, I know everyone loves Dooce, but the ex-Mormon gives her underaged sister alcohol and then sends her home, and I am really not cool with that. After reading about that, I quit reading her. She really is too snarky about the LDS religion for my tastes. If you don’t believe anymore, it doesn’t mean you have to be immature about it.

Second- I LOVE FRY SAUCE! I had forgotten about it! Ack! Why don’t they serve it here in the south? I miss all the Artics up there!

  31. yes. we should play. although my gaggle might be a little overwhelming…

  32. Holy cow! You’re in Utah? Like, an hour away?! Dude. See what happens when I don’t log on for like, 3 days??? Bloggity lunch?? Write me!

  1. […] EST to MST isn’t going so well. […]
